Affidea is Europe’s largest provider of diagnostic imaging, outpatient care, and cancer treatment. Through integration with the Affidea Group, we have strengthened our long-standing partnership with the Breast Centre Zurich and, with Affidea brustCare, established Switzerland’s first centre of excellence for breast medicine.
Our patients benefit from short pathways to all relevant specialists and comprehensive, interdisciplinary care. The Affidea Plastic Surgery Group offers the full range of breast surgery: from aesthetic procedures to reconstructive surgery and corrective interventions following operations. History
The Plastic Surgery Group was founded as a specialised centre for breast surgery and has been part of the Affidea Group since 2023. With the partnership with Affidea brustCare, Switzerland’s first centre of excellence for breast medicine was created, combining the highest standards in diagnostics and surgery.

Prof. Jian Farhadi
Establishment of his independent practice as a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at the Klinik Pyramide am See in Zurich.
2016
Prof. Jian Farhadi
Appointment as Head of Plastic Surgery and core member of the Breast Centre Zurich AG – a significant step in interdisciplinary breast medicine.
2017
Plastic Surgery Group
Founding of Plastic Surgery Group AG and assumption of the role of Medical Director – building an interdisciplinary centre for plastic surgery at the highest level.

The Plastic Surgery Group is renamed Affidea Plastic Surgery Group, continuing to represent aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the highest level. At the same time, the specialists of Affidea Plastic Surgery Group continue to provide breast reconstructions under the Affidea brustCare brand.
