Biography 

Dr. med. Valeska Hürlimann is a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. She speaks German, English, French and Portuguese.

Her academic path began at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau, where she studied Human Medicine from 2003 to 2010. At the same institution she obtained her Doctorate in Medicine in 2015, followed by the Specialist Title in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2018, which was recognised by MEBEKO in 2019.

Dr. med. Valeska Hürlimann has gained extensive professional experience. Her first position as assistant doctor was from 2011 to 2013 in General Surgery at Claraspital Basel. She then worked as assistant doctor in Plastic and Hand Surgery at the District Hospital Schopfheim and at the Municipal Hospital Pirmasens. At the University Hospital Bern she was first assistant doctor in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and was later promoted to Deputy Senior Physician.

Since early 2020, Dr. med. Hürlimann has been working as Consultant at the Plastic Surgery Group in Zurich.
