This and last year were different… That is why BRA Day Zurich on 20 October 2021 took place in a slightly different format.

Affected women today are open about showing their external and internal scars. On this subject, we produced the short film “Breast Reconstruction – Uncovered”. Five women speak about rebuilding the breast after cancer – or choosing not to. Five women – five perspectives. The film takes a critical look at the topic and portrays, in an honest and empathetic way, the diverse stories of the participants.

Via livestream, we broadcast the film premiere and the subsequent discussion with the participants, Dr. Alessia Lardi from the Plastic Surgery Group, and Dr. Esther Amann-Adam from the Breast Centre Zurich. Dear Enza, Gesina, Jasmin, Lisa & Ursina: our warmest thanks to all five protagonists for your openness – the film is deeply moving.
